Soft Evidence

Collective
This exhibition brings together a selection of works that explore the tension between image, value and contemporary visual culture.

Moving between painting, print, sculpture, mixed media and object-based interventions, the show reflects on the way symbols circulate, lose meaning, gain power and become part of a shared visual language. Classical references, currency, graffiti, popular icons and emergency signage are reinterpreted as objects of desire, irony and critique.

Here, value is not only financial. It is emotional, cultural and symbolic. A banknote becomes a canvas. A smiley face becomes an artefact. An emergency box becomes a statement. Across the exhibition, familiar images are displaced from their original context and transformed into new visual narratives.

The result is a dialogue between street culture and gallery space, between the collectible and the disposable, between beauty and provocation. Each work invites the viewer to look again at the images that surround us every day — and to question what we choose to preserve, consume, admire or break open.
